The Position

Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy, the Senior Strategy Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the company’s strategic direction across business areas, pipeline, and markets. You will work closely with Commercial, Operations and Finance functions to ensure long-term value creation in a complex and highly regulated industry.

You will be responsible for developing data-driven strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting high-level decision-making.

Key responsibilities are to:

• Lead corporate strategy process on global scale across Fertin Pharma to drive organizational growth and profitability

• Develop fact-based strategic recommendations grounded in thorough market, competitive, portfolio and performance analyses

• Translate strategic ambitions into clear strategic priorities/ enablers (must-win-battels), ensuring focus on value creation

• Define and maintain company-wide strategic objectives and KPI´s, aligned with long-term strategy and value drivers

• Partner with commercial categories and line functions to ensure business alignment, engagement and successful strategy implementation

• Drive corporate activities related to investments, including mergers and acquisitions in close collaboration with Commercial, Operations and Finance (e.g. strategic rationale, business cases, scenarios)

• Support the executive agenda and decision-making through structured recommendations, executive materials and ad-hoc strategic analyses

The Senior Strategy Manager provides indirect leadership towards analysts within strategy office and cross-functional interaction, influencing and impact. The candidate partners closely with the Senior Transformation Manager and hand over ownership of execution to this role once strategic priorities, objectives and success criteria are defined. It is important that the Senior Strategy Manager delivers on both immediate priorities and the long‑term growth agenda of the business. Furthermore, it is important to understand the big picture and utilize the specialists/ analysts. Likewise, it is important to be curious and gain the trust of the stakeholders.

Candidate Profile - Qualifications and Experience

The position requires an advanced degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field i.e. MBA or relevant master´s degree in business. You should have at least 5-8 years of experience from consulting, business development or strategy role and with a strong track record.

Furthermore, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to think strategically and provide actionable insights. The candidate has strong communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills. Experience in complex, multi-site or international environments is preferred. The candidate must be fluent in written and spoken English is a must
